General terms of use

The purpose of the present conditions is to define the terms of access to and use of the site www.palmer-et-vous.com.

1 Purpose of the site

This site was created to collect and publish your most memorable experiences enjoying a glass of Château Palmer, and to share them with visitors to the site, as well as by e-mail, on Facebook and Twitter.

Château Palmer reserves the right to select a limited number of experiences to post on their site and to publish them in a book at a later date.

2 Regulations

2.1 Use of the site

In order to consult this site, and contribute to it, you must be the legal minimum age to consume alcohol in your country. If you are under this age, please leave the site immediately. If, however, you are of age, please be sure to consume in moderation.

In certain countries it is forbidden to consult a site like ours because local legislation restricts the sale and/or promotion of alcoholic beverages. Therefore, if you are browsing this site from a country where such restrictions apply, please disconnect immediately. If you are unsure as to the legislation in the country whose laws you are subject to, we recommend that you leave this site and find out before continuing.

2.2 Submitting a story

In order to contribute one or several accounts of your experiences on the site, you must first register by filling in the appropriate form. In doing so, you are expected to provide full and accurate information.
However, only your name will appear publicly on the site. You must submit a valid e-mail address, although though this will not be visible on the site under any circumstances.

By posting your experience on www.palmer-et-vous.com, you accept that it can be reproduced on this site free of charge. You also accept that it can be published at a later date in the aforementioned book devoted to wine lovers' most memorable experiences with Château Palmer.

Your story will be evaluated by Château Palmer before appearing on the site. Château Palmer is completely free to decide whether or not to include stories on their site, and no recourse can be taken against their decisions if they decide not to publish your text on the Palmer-et-vous.com site, or in the aforementioned book. This decision is Château Palmer's alone to make, and they have no obligation whatsoever to post or otherwise make use of any contributions.

Château Palmer may find it necessary to send you an e-mail to request your approval if they feel that the text needs to be changed in some way.

3 Intellectual property and copyright

3.1 The site

All aspects of this site are subject to French and international laws with regard to copyright and intellectual property. Accessing palmer-et-vous.com entitles you to private and non-exclusive use of the site.
All of the information on this site, including texts, photographs, computer graphics, logos, and brands are considered works as defined by the intellectual property code. Therefore, any full or partial reproduction done without the express accord of their authors or beneficiaries is considered illegal.

3.2 / Contributions

Château Palmer is authorised to publish, verify, or remove submitted accounts as they see fit.
By ticking the box "I accept the terms of use", you renounce all copyright claims to narratives you accept to have posted on palmer-et-vous.com. In submitting an account of your experience, you thus transfer all claims to copyright for all electronic and paper media to Château Palmer. Château Palmer is entitled to use your story on their site as well as in any subsequent publication. In submitting your account, you guarantee that you are responsible for the text you submit and own the original copyright.

And by accepting the present terms of use, you acknowledge that you have transferred all intellectual property rights concerning your account to Château Palmer. This transfer is exclusive, irrevocable, and enforceable against all others, as well as totally free of charge.

3.3 Identity theft or improper disclosure

You guarantee that you are the author of all texts that you send to be posted on the site.
You should never pretend to be someone other than yourself.
You should not include links to other web sites or submit content that violates any other copyright.
You declare that you have not included any reproduction or reminiscence likely to violate the rights of third parties in your account, and that you have neither previously transferred nor pledged rights to it.

3.4 Sharing modules

You are able to use social networks and other electronic means (Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, etc.) to share your experiences. In doing so, you are solely responsible, especially with regard to legal regulations and the fight against alcoholism.

4 Right to privacy:

Château Palmer respects everyone's right to privacy and will do their best to protect your personal data.
Château Palmer promises not to exchange, sell, or transmit data of a personal nature to firms other than those belonging to the same group as the château, unless specifically required by law. Data recorded on the site are restricted to use by the Château Palmer communication department

Cookies
